Mentoring

Everyone knows that Library leadership is retiring at an alarming rate and the field for recruitment is becoming smaller and less mobile each year. Often, there are wonderful professionals with good qualifications and instincts, but need a little help getting up to speed on library law and standard operating procedures. More information

We help by mentoring the new professional by setting the plan for the first year, dealing with emergencies and answering questions from the view of the seasoned professional. As a part of the mentoring process, peer review is conducted and passed along to the Board to assist in assessing the progress of their new hire.
